*This event draws over 30,000 people and it is a great exposure opportunity.

Downtown Rehabilitation & Streetscape Project – Monthly Project Update
Wapiti Gravel Suppliers has been awarded the construction contract for Phases 1 & 2 of the Downtown Rehabilitation 2016/17 project. The Contractor has indicated to the City that they intend to start work on the project mid-July on 101 Street north of the Canadian National Rail tracks (on the west side of Revolution Place) and work their way northwards. You may have noticed activity around the site recently, the Contractor is in the process of verifying and marking existing underground utilities in preparation for construction.
Construction updates have been and will continue to be circulated via media outlets (newspaper, radio, etc.), as well as on social media sites and on the project website listed below.

ART GALLERY - is offering summer art camps for children and youth. Celebrate and explore art through drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, installation art and illustration.
The summer art camp will ignite creative imagination in its campers and allow young artists to discover and create in a lively and nurturing studio environment. Projects are inspired by our current exhibitions. Explore and learn with us this summer!

GRANDE PRAIRIE PUBLIC LIBRARY - Adult Colouring Book Club - with increased popularity of colouring books designed for adults, colouring isn’t just for kids anymore! Find out why these colouring books are so popular by checking it out the second Thursday of every month. Grande Readers Book Club - Do you love reading? Can’t wait to share your opinions on the chosen novel? Why not join the Club. Each month they read a book available through the Library and then meet to discuss your thoughts on the book as a group. Downloading eBooks & Audiobooks with Overdrive & 3M Cloud Library - Learn how to download eBooks & audiobooks using OverDrive & ebooks using 3M Cloud Library. This class will cover how to transfer library eBooks from your computer to your eReader, as well as how to use the App to download them directly.
